Wintertime at the Fox River Trolley Museum. South Elgin Illinois USA. December 2007.

I took this photo at the site of the museum shop building. I spotted this unusual combination of a railroad maintenance "Push Car" with a modern snorkel bucket mounted on top of it. It looks like that could be a draw bar to the left side of it for pushing or pulling in transit to overhead work sites. It could even be mounted on this little 4 wheel push car temporarilly even. Whatever the situation may be....maintenance is a never ending job on an operating railroad museum. The overhead wires have to be serviced occasionally.
