I found this historic photo from the former Erie Railroad at My Link page Fallen Flags.Org,located to the right of Your computer screen.

The photo is dated for March of 1962.
The former Erie Railroad, and the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad, had merged in 1960 and became the Erie Lackawanna Railroad.

Seen here is an E.L freight train with 1940's era first generation EMD model FT cab unit diesel electric locomotives, still wearing the colors and markings of the Erie Railroad. These four EMD model FT cab unit locomotives, are leading a freight train through Binghamton New York USA.
