A BNSF Railway one car transfer train on a hold order. Corwith Yard. Chicago Illinois. January 2007., a photo by Eddie from Chicago on Flickr.
I took this photo on a dry but cold and windy Winter morning, back in January of 2007.
A special one car BNSF Railway extra movement, waits for clearance to depart from the former Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Corwith Yard, and proceed westbound over the Belt Railway of Chicago owned single track branchline.
This engine and car, were photographed just east of South Lawndale Avenue at approximately West 49th Street, in Chicago's Elsdon neighborhood.
