Eastbound Burlington Northern freight train. Berwyn Illinois. July 1985.

I took this photo way back in July of 1985.

An eastbound Burlington Northern Railroad freight train being led by one of the BN's own unique EMD model GP 50 roadswitchers in the orange and black "Tiger Stripe" nose color scheme, passes through the Berwyn Metra commuter rail station at South Oak Park Avenue and West Windosr Street, in the west suburban village of Berwyn Illinois.

This freight train is slowing down upon approach to the nearby BN Clyde Yard in Cicero Illinois.
