Boris Badenough - Hey Rocky! (7" 45 RPM Single Edit){Trax, 1986}

Hi everyone!
This is Eddie K, Your host and photographer here at Eddie's Railfan Page.

Right about now, I thought that a good laugh would help to liven up your day.

I have always for the most part, enjoyed a good "Silly" novelty record or two occasionally.

During the 1980's and 90's, I would occasionally listen to "The Doctor De Mento Show" on W.L.U.P FM 98 in Chicago Illinois on Sunday nights. This program which was broadcast from California, featured many off the wall classic, corny, contemporary and sometimes overplayed "Goofy" songs of the past and present day. Everything fro Wierd Al, to Ray Stevens was played on this comedy radio music program.

A now lost and obscure favorite novelty record of mine, was a 1986 "One Hit Wonder" release from a studio recording artist who went by the name "Boris Badenov" from the old Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons, that was simply titled "Hey Rocky".

This record, was an experimental modern day 1980's era  "Dance Club Mix" record, that featured a story line and cartoon dialouge from "The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle" 1960's era television cartoon show.

Although Rocky and Bullwinkle was a popular  children's television cartoon show back in the early 1960's and through out the decade...this cartoon that was produced by the late great Jay Ward, was actually considered an "Adult Cartoon" when it first made it's debut, as it aired on the TV "Prime Time" viewing time slot around 8 or 9 PM, and featured many "Tasteful" and sometimes "Corny" adult oriented word comedy and puns.

Here is Rocky, Bullwinkle, Boris and Natasha like You have never heard them before.

Thanks.
Eddie K

"Now heres something we hope you really like."
