The crossing gates are lowering on north Oak Park Avenue, as an eastbound CP Rail transfer freight train is enroute to Craigin Junction.I took this photo looking west from the Metra "Mars" depot on north Oak Park Avenue near Fullerton on Chicago's northwest side. The depot is so named "Mars", as it is adjacent to the famous M & M Mars candy factory. Chicago's weather in December 2006 was relatively mild with temperatures in the 50's at times.
