Seen here on display at the Illinois Railway Museum, is a preserved 1970's GMC fishbowl bus from the city of Milwaukee Wisconsin. The Milwaukee County Transit System operated these buses in regulair service until Junr 8th 2001. I was on the last run charter with a group from the Chicago chapter, of the Omnibus Society of America. This veteran transit bus now has a new home in the state of Illinois, at a museum.Monday, April 09, 2007
