I took this photo one evening in early June of 2009. We are looking east on Maple Avenue in north suburban Wilmette Illinois. A northbound Chicago ransit Authority purple line train, is seen entering the northern terminal for the CTA purple line at Linden Avenue. The old fashioned victorian era streetlamps have began to light up for the approaching nightfall, as another day is coming to a close in the greater Chicagoland area.
