I took this photo on a summer morning in June of 2007. A westbound Canadian National freight train has just recieved a green block signal indication, and is now slowly getting it's heavy freight consist under way. This image was photographed just east of Des Plaines Avenue, along the northside of Commons Park. The train is traveling over the former Illinois Central Railroad / Iowa Division Mainline.
