I took this photo recently one evening, back in June of 2010.
It is near sunset in the Windy City, as a southbound Chicago Transit Authority Route #53 Pulaski Road bus has just rounded the corner at West 31st Street. The bus is viewed heading to the south terminal just a block west of here in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood on the near southwest side of the city.
Prior to March 25th, 1973...this was an electric trolley bus route.
