Penn Central caboose # 18401. Marion Ohio. From the internet.

The small "Northeastern" style center cupola steel railroad caboose, was an all time classic design that had graced various American railroads from the steam era in to the 1970's.

Looking almost luke a custom painted H.O Scale Life Like or Bachman model purchased at a local hobby store, this freshly painted example from the Penn Central Railroad circa early 1970's, helped to add some bright color to an otherwse broken down, bankrupt and very basic black railroad.

This photo was taken in the city of Marion Ohio USA.
