Eastbound City of Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation Autocar heavy duty garbage truck on Higgins Avenue. Chicago Illinois. Wednsday, June 30th, 2010.

The City of Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation has been upgrading their fleet of garbage trucks in recent times.

I photographed this brand new Autocar heavy duty model in a shning new coat of copper and light blue paint heading eastbound on Higgins Avenue near the intersection at Harlem on a beautiful summer day.
