Northbound Metra local at the Lake Cook Road commuter rail station. Deerfield Illinois. Monday, August 23rd, 2010.

I took this photo recently at the Lake Cook Road Metra commuter rail station, in far north suburban Deerfield Illinois.

This detailed photo, shows the space between the cars. Notice how the diaphragm between the cars is now protected by a steel housing.
