The Hesston Steam Museum. Hesston IN. Sept 2010.

I photographed this digital live sound video last year, during My September 2010 visit to The Hesston Steam Museum in northwest Indiana, just east of Michigan City.

My Wife and I had just arrived at the museum and were about to enter on to the museum property. Seen here from a distance, is the museum's meter guage 0-8-0 steam locomotive from the European Nationa formerly known as East Germany, departing from the Hesston Junction depot.

The two open coaches behind the locomotive, are originally from Chicago's Brookfield Zoo. The 2 foot narrow guage Brookfield, Salt Creek & Western Railroad, operated around the perimeter of Chicago's Brookfield Zoo in a counter clockwise direction, from 1967 until 1985.
