I found this photograph omn the internet.

One of My all time favorite railroads that had served the ciity of Chicago Illinois when I was growing up in the windy city, was the former Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad. I loved the Santa Fe for many reasons, one of them being that they were a late user of cabooses at the rear of some of their mainline freight trains during the 1980's.

Railfan photographer Mike Barton photographed this Atchinson, Topeka  Santa Fe Railroad rebuilt caboose, on the rear of a freight train at Fort Madison Iowa, in this photographed that is dated for June 6th, 1981.

Between 1966 and 1968, the Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe rebuilt and upgraded their caboose fleet, with cushion underframes, fewer lower leval windows wich were now sealed, as well as this bright Vermillion red color scheme with the large yellow circular Santa Fe logo beneath the cupola.
