The Glenview Dairy Bar. Glenview Illinois USA. Wednsday, March 28th, 2012.

I took this photo in late March of 2012.

An annual tradition at the family owned and operated Glenview Dairy Bar roadside soft serve ice cream stand in north suburban Glenview Illinois, is the posted countdown to opening day every year in the early Springtime.

The day before the official opening, can sometimes find a group of young dedicated fans camping out on the sidewalk in front of the Glenview Dairy Bar with sleeping bags. and refreshments handy.

The Glenview Dairy Bar opens in early April, and usually closes by mid November weather permiting.
