I took this photo one morning last week during My lunch break.
The Elmwood Park Illinois Fire Department,was doing a test / mechanical inspection of the ariel boom tower mechanism on one of their large fire trucks in the driveway of the Conti Parkway Circle fire station.
Several local citizens passing by, had stopped to watch the show, making this an unofficial demonstration of modern hi tech fire equipment.
