A happy seasonal memory for many people who grew up in Chicago many years ago, was the sound of the musical ice cream vendor's truck heading up Your block in the old neighborhood.
I took this photo during a June 1985 visit to Chicago's Pulman Village neighborhood on the far southeast side of Chicago.
An old 1950's era stepvan ice cream truck, recreates a neighborhood scene I had grown up with in Chicago during the 1960's and 70's era in My own old neighborhood.
