I took this photo one morning, back in October of 2006.
A heavy dutty broad guage railroad crane from the Prairie Materials Company along the north branch of the Chicago River at North Halsted Street, is viewed transloading sand and other additives from moored barges.
This photograph is facing west from the North Halsted Street bridge, near West Chicago Avenue.
