I took this photo back in July of 2007.
A little known railfan's attraction in the greater Chicagoland area, is this preserved 1981 vintage wide vision railroad caboose from the former Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad.
This caboose is on display, at a place known as the Santa Fe Prairie Nature Preserve, in southwest suburban Hodgkins Illinois.
This caboose is located on River Road, across from the north bank of the Des Plaines River.
