Refueling a narrow guage steam locomotive at the Hesston Steam Museum. Hesston Indiana. June 1991.

I took this behind the scenes photograph during a July 1991 visit to the Hesston Steam Museum in northwest Indiana near Michigan City.

Photographed at an isolated location just north of the east curve at Hesston Junction, the crew of the CSK 0-4-0T side tank steam locomotive from Czechloslovakia, refuels the engine whith fresh coal, whith the assistance of a John Deere front end loader tractor.

For more information on this wonderful family oriented train attraction, log on to www.hesston.org

Thanks.
