Roadside businesses from gasoline stations, tourist attractions as well as local bar and grill establishments, have always had a cult following of their own.
A local Chicago area roadside establishment whith a cult following of it's own, is the Morrison Roadhouse bar and Grill at the corner of North Harlem Avenue and West Jarvis Street, in north suburban Niles Illinois. This place was established in 1932.
When some local Chicagoans hear the name Morrison Roadhouse, thry often think of the late 1960's era record album Morrison Hotel from The Doors, and the big hit Doors single Roadhouse Blues.
Chicago was and still is a Rock and Roll and Blues music city in North America.
