The city of Seatle Washington began experimenting in the early 1990's, with this unique and very pollution free way to make their electric trolleybus system operate more efficiently.
The Seatle's King County Metro Transit System, operates this particular electric trolleybus route in an underground subway system, wich avoids rush hour traffic complications on city streets, and speeds up bus schedules.
There are five underground bus stations on this route.
