The Melrose Park Illinois Public Library located at 801 Broadway Street in Melrose Park Illinois, welcomes local Chicago historian, photographer and website host Edward Kwiatkowski to the library on Saturday, September 29th 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Eddie will be hosting a multi media photo slideshow and lecture, about Chicago's once many and now long gone amusement parks of the past.
If you can remember Riverview Park in Chicago, Adventure Land in Addison Illinois, Kiddieland in Melrose Park Illinois, Playland Park in Justice Illinois, or any number of these now long since vanished seasonal family owned and operated amusement parks that once existed in the greater Chicagoland area...then you won't want to miss this fun and very family oriented presentation.
