The Melrose Park Public Library located at 801 Broadway Street in Melrose Park Illinois, welcomes local Chicago historian, photographer and internet host Edward Kwiatkowski to the library on Saturday, September 19th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Eddie will be hosting a multi media photo slideshow and lecture presentation, about Chicago's Amusement Parks of the past.
If you have happy memories of Riverview Park in Chicago, Playland Park in Justice Illinois, Fairyland in Lyons Illinois, Old Chicago in Bolingbrook Illinois, Adventure Land in Addison Illinois, Dispensa's Kiddie Kingdom in Oak Brook Terrace Illinois...or any number of the now long gone and once numerous family owned and seasonal outdoor amusement parks that once had surrounded the greater Chicagoland area prior to the late 1970's and early 1980's....then you won't want to miss this fun and very family oriented presentation filled with many happy memories and stories to share.
