A westbound suburban Pace bus, is seen passing through the fountain square area known as "Eight Corners" in the village of Brookfield Illinois. This Orion transit coach is heading for nearby suburban La Grange Illinois.Although I wasn't paying attention to the gasoline station sign at the time -notice how much a gallon of unleaded gasoline costed in May of 1990.

Nice price for gas: $1.12 per gallon...Those were the days.
$1.129 back in the day. Those were the good old days.
Also, notice the First National Bank of Brookfield. This bank building was demolished, and a new building was built. And where the gas station was. That is where the drive up ATM is kept.
