I took this photo on a September 2000 fantrip excursion to the East Troy Electric Railroad and Museum, and also to the nearby Kenosha Wisconsin Electric Streetcar Operation. Steeplecab electric motors like Motor # L-9, and the former Milwaukee Road transfer caboose, are examples of the types of equipment used on electric railroads that provided freight train and switching service.
