Two train meet on the CTA blue line. Forest Park Illinois USA. August 2006.
The hot summer sunshine is beating down on the ballast, rails , and tracks on an August afternoon in 2006. An inbound train to the end of the line terminal on Des Plaines Avenue passes on the right, while an outbound train to downtown Chicago and O'Hare International Airport passes on the left. The Chicago transit Authority blue line, is one of Chicago's lenghtiest rapid transit lines. This line operates in a horse shoe pattern traveling between Forest Park, Chicago, and Rosemont Illinois.
