I took this lovely Springtime railfan photograph at the Des Plaines Avenue railroad crossing in North Riverside Illinois. It is a lovely and warm Springtime morning with outside temperatures around 68 drgrees Farenheight. A westbound Canadian National freight train, is seen passing the railroad crossing on Des Plaines Avenue adjacent to Commons Park. This is the former Illinois Central Railroad, Iowa Division Mainline.
