I took this photo one morning, in early September of 2007.
An eastbound freight train from the then midwest regional railroad Iowa, Chicago & Eastern, is viewed from the south or eastbound platform at the Roselle Illinois Metra commuter rail station. It is late morning, and the heavy rush hour weekday commuter train period is just about over. Freight trains are now being dispatched here on the Canadian Pacific ex Milwaukee Road mainline.
