The old Tastee Freeze that used to be on South Pulaski Road and West 58th Street. Chicago Illinois USA. May 1984.
I took this photo one very pleasant Springtime evening, way back on May of 1984.
Seen here at the northeast corner of South Pulaski Road and West 58th Street in Chicago's Westlawn neighborhood near Midway Airport, is the former Tastee Freeze walk up ice cream stand.
This business was eventually sold at some point during the early 1990's, and still is in business today as a privately owned family operated seasonal sofe serve ice cream drive in restaurant. It was a nice night for a soft serve cone or a shake when I took this photo 26 years ago this month.
Thanks.
Eddie K.
