The "New" 2007 built Edison Park Metra commuter rail station. Chicago Illinois USA. July 2011.

I took this photo early in the morning on My way to work one day last week.

Seen here west of North Harlem Avenue near the intersection of Northwest Highway and Oliphant Street, is the Edison Park Metra commuter rail station east of Park Ridge Illinois.

This is the new and improved Metra commuter rail station that was built in 2007, and replaced a smaller brick depot building originally used by the former Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad in years past.

This depot serves Metra commuter trains operating on the Metra / Union Pacific northwest line to Harvard Illinois.
