I took this photo way back in May of 1990.
Seen here looking west from South Kostner Avenue near West 53rd Street, are the recently poured concrete support collums for the future, Chicago Transit Authority's orange line rapid transit to Midway Airport.
The Orange line opened during the fall of 1993.
