I took this photograph way back in May of 1987.
A wide vision caboose from the former Illinois Central Railroad, is viewed wearing the recently introduced gray "New Image" color scheme after the company had reorganized itself, after many years of being the Illinois Central Gulf.
This train was photographed from the east side of the South Pulaski Road bridge, near West 76th Street. The train is entering the nearby Belt Railway of Chicago Clearing Yard in Bedford Park Illinois.
