I took this photograph during a June 1988 visit to the Hesston Steam Museum in northwest Indiana, just east of Michigan City.
Borrowed wooden open coaches from the recently discontinued Brookfield, salt Creek & Western Railroad that circled Chicago's Brookfield Zoo from 1967 to 1985, are coupled on to a recently restored meter guage 0-4-0T steam locomotive from Czechloslovakia operating on the museum train today.
In 2002, the stored rolling stock of three locomotives and several open wooden coaches from the former Brookfield Zoo train, were officially donated to the Hesston Steam Museum after 17 years in storage.

Thanks.
