I took this photo after work one afternoon, in March of 2008.
We are at the north entrance to Clearing Yard on South Central Avenue at what would approximately be West 68th Street. Looking east, we view a Belt Railway of Chicago 1970's era EMD yard switcher locomotive at work pulling a cut of cars. The large building with the tall windows behind the locomotive, is the Belt Railway of Chicago locomotive shops inside the Clearing Yard complex.
