Here I am Your host and photographer Eddie K, riding aboard a retired 1965 Mack Fire Pumper truck. On Tuesday night, July 14th 2009, I got together with several friends to embark on a really fun and unique local sightseeing tour of Chicago aboard what is normally a fire truck.
O'Leary's Fire Truck Tours, utilizes this retired 1965 Mack fire pumper truck that originally worked in Long Island New York. Long since retired, this truck was later fitted with school bus seats, side railings and a canopy. Instead of transporting firefighters to the scene of a fire, accident or emergency, it now transports tourists around the city of Chicago for a fun and unique sightseeing tour experience.
My friends and Myself had a really wonderful time that night. I highly recommend this tour. It was fun!
