Winter days in the city of Chicago Illinois luckilly aren't always dreary and overcast. Sometimes they can be brilliantly sunlit.
I took this photo on a Saturday afternoon way back in January of 1988 at Brighton Junction. A northbound Conrail caboose hop, is viewed waiting on a hold order at Brighton Junction near South Archer and Western Avenues. It was cold and windy alright, but sunglasses were definattely the order of the day. It was squint city.
