I took this photo one morning in October of 2006.
Seen here at North Western Avenue and West Hubbard Street, is the elevated Western Avenue Metra commuter rail station. In past decades, this depot served commuter trains from the Milwaukee Road. It is an old brick passenger train station that hails from the steam era.
