I took this photo one morning looking west on 26th Street, in west suburban Cicero Illinois. With radient sunshine and a definate need for wearing sunglasses, there is a lot of activity goimg on at the BNSF Railway Clyde Yard. With bitterly cold outside temperatures and a sharp wind out of the west, the activity just keeps going on at this major Chicago area rail transportation hub.
Since I took this photo back in January of 2007, the BNSF Railway has recently erected a tall fence along the north side of 26th Street. This view is now no longer available today.
