I took this photo one sunny but sharply cold and windy winter morning, back in January of 2007. We are just east of the Chicago city limits border looking toward west suburban Cicero Illinois. Seen here looking west on the Canadian National ex Illinois Central RR Iowa Division Mainline tracks, We see a northbound Canadian National freight train traveling over the Belt Railway of Chicago. That 1970's era green Burlington Northern Railroad covered hopper car that was apparently still in good shape, was the bait for Me to take this photo.
