I took this photo during a short but well appreciated lunchtime visit to north suburban Wilmette Illinois. Although the 2009 calendar had indicated it was actually the first day of December, the day was sunny and comfortably mild. Seen here by one of the rustic streetlamps along Isabella Street, was a colorful leftover seasonal reminder of just how beautiful Autum actually is in scenic Wilmette Illinois.
It was a very refreshing sight amongst the many barren winter trees in town.
