Hi everyone!
Welcome aboard Eddie's Railfan Page from the city of Chicago Illinois.

I took this photo one cold and sunny afternoon, in December of 1988. A place I had frequently visited in the greater Chicagoland area during the mid to late 1980's, was the south suburban village of Evergreen Park Illinois.

I took this photo looking north at the intersection of South Kedzie Avenue and West 95th Street. Back in those days, the Evergreen Park epartment of Public Works would put up this tethered red Christmas tree display over the intersection every year around the holidays. I enjoyed visiting Evergreen Park any time of the year, but the holiday season was always very special on West 95th Street.

Happy Holidays to all from the greater Chicagoland area.
