Historic Photo! Detroit Department of Street Railways PCC streetcar # 123 at Monroe and Cadilac Square during the 1950's. Detroit Michigan USA.
This historic 1960's era photograph, comes to Eddie's Railfan Page via the website "Dave's Electric Railroads". (This is a really cool page to log on to.)
Seen here at what appears to be a rush hour commuting period in downtown Detroit Michigan, is a busy pedestrian and traffic image of Detroit Department of Street Railways PCC Electric streetcar # 123 at some point in time during the 1950's.
The Detroit department of Street Railways phased out electric streetcar operations in April of 1956, and later electric trolleybus operations during the year of 1962.
