Late day sunshine glinting off the sides of a northbound Metra local. Deerfield Illinois USA. Tuesday, March 30th 2010.
There is nothing quiete like railfanning on location near the end of a beautiful day!
I took this photo after work on the evening of Tuesday, March 30th 2010 at the Metra Lake Cook Road commuter train station in Deerfield Illinois. It was a lovely early Springtime day with cool temperatures and sunshine.
A northbound Metra evening rush hour local commuter train enroute to Fox Lake Illinois, is being lit by the late day sunshine prior to the approaching sunset.
With the sunlight glinting off of the stainless steel car sides, the onboard group of rail commuters will soon be heading home for the night.
A nice way to end a work day for Myself on location that day.
