Welcome aboard Eddie's Railfan Page from the city of Chicago Illinois USA.
This is one of My "Early" 35 mm railfan photographs I had taken.
This photo was taken in April of 1984, at a location known as Brighton Junction, wich is near the intersection of South Archer and Western Avenues in Chicago.
Believe it or not, those old fashioned steam era manual Semaphore signals, were in operation here until July 3rd, 2007.
You would not recognize this place today. Everything is now remotely automated signal wise here today.
