Chicago's Riverview Park. (Gone.) 1904-1967.

Hi everyone!

This is Eddie K, Your host and photographer here at Eddie's Railfan Page.

Many young people growing up today in the greater Chicagoland area proboubly aren't aware of it, but this area once had many seasonal family owned amusement parks to visit with family and friends.

These were great places to go to with Your family, perhaps that special someone on a date, or even to just step out and have some weekend fun.

Join Me on Saturday, March 24th from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at the Lyons Public Library, as I will be hosting a musical photo slideshow -multi Media -Lecture presentation entitled "Kiddieland and other Chicago Amusement Parks of the past"!

If You could remember fun Summertime places like Riverview Park in Chicago, Adventureland in Addison Illinois, Playland Park in Justice Illinois, Kiddieland in Melrose Park Illinois...or aybe even a few other fun, long gone amusement park establishments from Chicago's past...then You won't wan't to miss this presentation.

The Lyons Public Library is located at 4209 Joliet Avenue in west suburban Lyons Illinois. Admission is free.

This will be a fun family oriented event, and We hope to see You there.

Thanks.
Eddie K.
