Attention amusement park fans!
The Eisenhower Public Library located at 4613 North Oketo Avenue in Harwood Heights Illinois, welcomes local Chicago historian and photographer Edward Kwiatkowski to the library's upstairs meeting room on Saturday, May 12th 2012 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM.
Eddie will be hosting a musical photo slideshow - Multi Media -and Lecture presentation about Chicago's recently closed Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park Illinois.
Eddie had taken several photos and videos of the place prior to the park's closing on Sunday, September 27th, 2009, as well as photos and videos of the park's final day of operation.
Other amusement parks that once existed in the greater Chicagoland area, will also be featured as well in this fun, family oriented presentation.
Admission is free!
