Mid 1960's vintage CTA Flxible bus at West 63rd Place and South Kedzie Avenue terminal loop. Chicago Illinois. July 1985., a photo by Eddie from Chicago on Flickr.
I took this photo on a hot Summer morning, way back in July of 1985.
The Chicago Transit Authority's 1960's era Flxible transit buses, were in their final full year of service on Chicago's city streets.
This well worn bus, was photographed at the CTA bus terminal loop at West 63rd Place and South Kedzie Avenie, in Chicago's Marquette Park neighborhood.
The remaining 1960's era CTA Flxible "New Look" transit buses were retired in 1986.
