A Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad grain extra, passes over the quarry pit. Photographed at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers,H.O Scale Model Railroad Club.

I took this photograph two weeks ago, at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers,H.O
Scale Model Railroad Club, located in west suburban Oak Park Illinois.

My Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad grain extra freigt train that I was operating, is viewed passing above the large quarry mining pit scene on the club layout. This mining area, is a real attention getter for both model train enthusiast, and fans of heavy equipment alike.

The Oak Park Society of Model Engineers, is located in the basement of the Oak Park Public
Libray's Dole Learning Center building at 255 Augusta Street in Oak Park. The club operates on
Wednsday nights from 7 to 9 PM. Public visitors are welcome to stop in and say hello.

Thanks.
Eddie K.
